Preaus Landscape of Tulsa, L.L.C. was born in 1979 - a product of brothers, Ken and Bill Preaus. Both are Certified Arborists through the International Society of Arboriculture. 

Certified Arborists are required to take a 200 question exam that demonstrates proficiency in at least 13 tree-related areas. Materials include tree biology, tree identification, tree soil relations, water management, tree nutrition and fertilization, tree selection/installation and establishment, pruning concepts and techniques, cabling, bracing and lightening protection.

Initially, the company was run out of their parents home, with Ruby, their mother, handling all the office work (answering phones, typing bids and invoices, and filing). Finally in 2000, they built an office with a shop and storage for their equipment. As the years progressed and they became known for their quality of work and service, they were able to invest in more and better equipment. Today, they are known throughout the state as having the best equipment available and having the only fleet of Track Mounted Aerial Lifts in Oklahoma.
